Mostly known as the Vegan Panadero (baker) at Victoria’s Bakery, Santa Ana resident Earvin Lopez is changing the game by making traditional Mexican sweet bread “pan dulce” but with a vegan twist. Lopez who became vegan two years ago shares his journey to becoming vegan and the importance of providing healthier options for the Latino community in his city. His vegan Mexican sweet bread has sparked conversations among residents who after trying his bread, want to learn more about other vegan foods. The small bakery is special to many because it is providing healthier options at reasonable prices.
